Are you looking for a way to treat your facial veins, leg veins and those unsightly spider veins without injections?
Laser vein removal with the ND Yag Cutera laser produces excellent results.
This laser has multiple purposes. It can treat vessels of all sizes, from the larger blue reticular veins of the legs, to the small red vessels found on the face typically around the nose and chin.
Other vessels that can be addressed include fine facial telangiectasia, fine leg veins, spider leg veins and deep reticular leg veins. Cherry angiomas and venous lakes on the lips can also be successfully treated with this laser.
The only veins that cannot be treated with this device are the thick bulgy varicosities, also known as deep varicose veins. These veins require either surgery or endovenous ablation typically performed by a vascular surgeon.

Is the treatment painful?
The hand piece has a built in cooling device that allows us to both heat and cool the vessels before and after treatments. This will actually protect the skin from the heat applied to the vessel below the skin. The treatment is almost painless.

What are the side effects?
There is no need for injections and compressive dressings as the entire procedure is done exclusively with the laser. There will be some mild redness and swelling around the treated vein after the procedure but this will subside in a few days.
Typically, we can successfully improve about 80-90% of vein clearance with 2-3 treatments over the course of a year.
Used alone or in combination with IPL, results can be enhanced and long lasting.
There is no down time with this procedure.
You can easily resume your activities immediately after the procedure.
